Dr. Paul Ajakaye has more than two decades of experience in the aviation industry. He has made immense contributions, particularly in the areas of aerodrome and air navigation including the coordination, review and publication of Nigeria Civil Aviation Regulations and other oversight documents relating to the establishment of aerodromes and provision of air navigation services in accordance with the standards and recommended practices of the International Civil Aviation Organisation.

As General Manager, Surveillance in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Paul was responsible for the development of surveillance programmes and the continuous surveillance of aerodrome operators and air navigation service providers.

He was a member of many committees in the organisation and held various other positions. His academic qualifications include B.Sc (Physics), M.Sc (Meteorology) and Ph.D (Environmental Resource Management).

An ICAO Certified Training Instructor, he is also a Practitioner of the Chartered Quality Institute and Associate of the International Register of Certified Auditors-Quality Management Systems and Environmental Management Systems.
